Amon Amarth takes you back to the glorious days of Norse mythology. Everything that you see, encounter and kill are all based on the myth. You take control of Thor, the god of thunder. The Vikings of Midgard need your help and it’s up to you to save them from death and eternal damnation. Harnessing the powers of thunderbolts and lightning and your trusty hammer Mjolnir, the enemies of Hel will kneel before you. After all, you are the god of thunder.

The game starts at Midgard but you will have to travel far and wide to really push back the demons where they come from. You will need to journey as far defying odds into trespassing Valhalla and descend into Hel itself. Through fire and ice, show no mercy to your enemies. Asgard is counting on you. Your people are counting on you. And if you fall, both heaven and earth will fall too.
