Now, as you are being kept captive by the wizard Irenicus, you contemplate whether to resist the darkness in the depth of your being and forsake the destiny that awaits you or accept the monstrous side of your being. The original characters from the previous games are brought back to life in the enhanced edition. From Neera the Wild Mage to Dorn Il-Khan the Blackguard and Rasaad the Monk. These characters are still recruitable just like in the old games. Moreover, two new characters are making their debut to the D&D multiverse – Hexxat the Thief and Wilson the Bear. They will have their character quests that will allow players to travel to new locations.

How to Play Baldur’s Gate II

The general objective and plot of the game is relatively similar to its predecessors. There are new missions to discover the past and personal life of the newly added characters. Moreover, there are tons of side quests as well. The biggest plot of Baldur’s Gate 2 is The Black Pits 2: Gladiators of Thay. It is a standalone story where players are thrown into gladiatorial combat. They will be going against odd creatures such as Mind Flayers, Demi-Liches, and Githyanki.
