Admit it or not, you may have once dreamt of an action-packed police chase. I, for one, thought that these hot pursuits were cool when I was a kid. Hence, I got hooked to games like GTA and Need for Speed. Unfortunately, these games may be too violent and full of crime for a younger audience. This is where Cars vs Cops Desktop comes in.

Just like any other Ketchapp games, Cars vs Cops boasts simple mechanics, graphics and sounds. Nevertheless, it will never cease to keep you chained on your desktop as the addictive gameplay keeps you hooked.

The goal of the game is simple – dodge cops for as long as possible! Once you get caught three times, it’s game over for you. Your score is increased every second and every time the cops collide with each other. As time passes by, more variety of cops will jump in the pursuit. Eventually, your heart will thump as swat trucks and choppers tail your fragile race car!

To score high, all you need is your skills – there are neither upgrades to grind nor power-ups to collect. If you do not have fast reflexes and good spatial awareness, then it will be a tough road to score high. All that being said, it is possible for a first-time player to beat the high score of a veteran since there everyone will be at the level ground in terms of in-game perks.

While the lack of power-ups and upgrades may seem dull if you want to invest time in Cars vs Cops Desktop, the presence of limitless aesthetic unlockables will give you a distinct sense of progression. As of this writing, I am grinding in hopes of acquiring the tank skin. I know that it won’t be firing any cannons, but I guess it feels good to drive around with a tank that is as delicate as a flower!
