How Long You Aim Does Not Affect Arrow Speed & Distance

One of the myths in the game is that the longer you hold the aim, the faster and more distance the arrow will travel. This is especially false.  No matter when you release your arrow, whether early or late, the speed and travel distance will remain the same.  What matters the most is where your crosshairs are aimed at on the 3D archery target.

Always Consider Wind Resistance

As the game goes by, there will be a new challenge in the game called Wind Resistance. It will affect the travel of your arrow so always make sure you predict your aiming right.

Just because your crosshair is aimed at the bullseye does not mean you’ll actually hit the 3D archery range target directly. If there is wind resistance either left or right, the arrow will travel west or east of your desired crosshair. The game features varied arrows—each with anti-wind resistance. Use the numbers to your advantage. If the wind is 6mph east, use an arrow that has a -5 wind resistance so the overall wind resistance you’ll have to worry about is 1mph.

Depending on which way the wind is heading, always aim to the opposite of it. For example, if the wind resistance is 15 mph west, aim your crosshair slightly to the right away from the bullseye. The arrow will curve to the middle of the 3D archery range target as it travels along the wind resistance.
