You need to merge at least three similar items to create a better one. You just need to put two beside each other and then drag the third one near them and they’ll automatically merge. One trick you can do is to merge five similar items.

It will result in 2two better items even if you’re combining less than 6 similar items. As you merge crafting materials and create new ones, you complete tasks. The tasks in Merge County are all related to giving the town a makeover. You just merge items, complete tasks, collect rewards and unlock new areas.
