Survive & Escape A Spooky Hospital

Players take the role of a kidnap victim who, for some unknown reason, wakes up in a room inside a creepy hospital. The mission is to survive and escape the dreadful building, which should be easy if not for its nefarious residents. To escape the building, players must scavenge for keys, weapons, and solve puzzles as quietly as possible.

In addition, players can choose from five difficulty modes. Each game mode comes with a dedicated set of rules and parameters. One example is Ghost mode wherein players are undetectable or invisible to enemies. Another is the Nightmare mode that comes with fast enemies, low resources, and enemies with superhuman hearing.

Specimen Zero follows the same basic mechanics seen in survival horror games like Slendrina. What makes this game unique is the cooperative multiplayer mode that comes complete with a room creation option and a solid matchmaking system.

How to Play Specimen Zero

Specimen Zero will take you straight to the main title menu the moment you open the game. The main title menu is where you will see the “New Game” and “Multiplayer” buttons. Choosing the New Game button will take you to the game-mode selection page. You will also see the description of each mode on the same screen. You can then click the “Play” button after choosing your preferred game mode.

Choosing Multiplayer will take you to the character selection screen. Similar to the single-player mode, you can just click on the “Start” button after choosing a character. Both single-player and multiplayer come with a brief hands-on tutorial of the game’s basic mechanics.
