Wormax.io Game Features:
How Long Can You Go?
Wormax.io is all about competition – a competition of whoever becomes the longest, that is! The game revolves around your worm getting longer in a straight line. The longer you don’t change position, the more gradual your elongation will become. And this is where the best part happens. Once you think you’re having a momentum of getting longer, there will be other players in the map that will do the same. If you bump your head into them, then it’s game over for you. The big twist here is that once you change direction, the score restarts to 0 and you’ll have to grind your points in a new attempt. It’s kind of like the classic cell phone game Snake only with multiplayer and different rules. So now the question remains: how long can you go?
Power-Ups to Boost Your Worm
Just by growing your worm is already fun but it’s not Wormax.io without the hefty number of power-ups to be had! You get to collect these as the game progresses. There are power-ups that help you grow faster or make you move slower, boosts that make your speed even faster, force fields that make you immune when colliding against other players and, our personal favorite, a limited time where your points don’t reset when you turn!
Choose Your Own Worm
Wormax.io is a game filled with weird and wonderful “worms”. Yes, “worms”. As in you’re not playing like a disgusting creepy crawly in real life. The game has a bunch of pre-built custom models that elongate in the game: you’ve got your standard worm with different colors and cute eyes and then there are the more absurd ones like ladybugs, snakes, and dachshunds. And then there are “meme” animals like doge (wow such doge very character so unlock), a watery-eyed doggo, a sad kitty and even grumpy cat that even gets grumpier as she goes longer and fatter!
Wormax.io Tips & Tricks:
Only Use Speed Boosts When Necessary
You can use the default speed boost anytime you want but it does carry 2 consequences: One is that it depletes your points and two, it slowly makes your worm shorter. So why did the developers add this perk in Wormax.io if it ruins your points? Well, there are reasonable purposes for that: it helps you avoid incoming collision with other players, it gives you a better chance to receive power-ups first before the others, and it gives you sonic speed. Who doesn’t want sonic speed? Only use it when you need it the most!
Always Head North
We don’t know exactly why players don’t ever like going upwards but for us, you should take their fear as an opportunity for you to elongate more. Most player stick going sideways probably because they’re too lazy to turn. Of course, since the Wormax.io game randomly generates player positions, always look out when heading north – the biggest encounter here is colliding onto them. The best way to build up your worm while going up is by moving in a diagonal position. Not to mention the camera seems to always favor slightly more space to the upper part of the screen.
