You’re certainly right. This isn’t Yandere Simulator. In fact, this game serves as a “warm-up” to Yandere Simulator since that game isn’t fully complete yet. So, while you wait for its release, Yandere School delivers as a great alternative. Yes, the game lets you become a Yandere-chan and do things a yandere does – basically kill off every other girl who likes your crush in order for you to have him by yourself. Sounds bloody and disturbing? Of course, it is. That’s the cliche of it all. “Why would someone do that,” you ask? Well, seems like you haven’t watched anime or read a manga about this trope if you thought so.

Free-Roaming Psycho Romance in Yandere School

The game features a free-roaming sandbox mode that lets you do anything in a particular level. As in anything until you run into a mistake that will force a game over. Additionally, the game also includes a nice romantic story similar to anime and manga that have a Yandere-chan protagonist/antagonist. It’s a weeaboo cliche but it works well.

As a Yandere-chan, you will need to murder the girls who like the boy. Of course, this also means you don’t want any witnesses nor dead bodies lying around. You will need to take care of those through stealthy hiding. Oh, and Akari is best waifu.
