The game starts with a short intro highlighting the previous events that led to the current conflict. It states that all was peaceful in the Valar’s magical realm until the original crystal’s presence brought about a sea shift. A conflict broke out, in which even the gods took part. Following the brief intro, you can now choose your own goddess and upgrade it as you travel through the game. During epic battles, you can awaken other goddesses and unite them. Also, make sure to take better care of home maintenance in your downtime between battles.

Tons of resources are needed in Goddess Era, including those that you will use often. Examples are the gold currency, EXP of goddesses, tier-up crystals, and many others. On the main menu, choose the Adventure tab, and then pick the Airship symbol to launch the Divinity Expedition window. In principle, you will start this mode from that screen. Every 48 hours, at midnight, this setting resets. Following the refresh, all content for Divinity Expedition will reset, and any benefits accumulated during the prior period will be forfeited.
