How to Play The Action-Adventure Game

Slugterra combines the matching puzzle games and creature collection aspects of different genres. Each time you explore a level, you will encounter enemies you’ll need to defeat. This is done by matching slugs that appear on the grid on the screen. Doing so will allow Eli Shane to shoot at the enemy and deal damage. You will have to whittle down the enemy’s health bar to complete the level.

Collecting Slugs is the other mechanic in the game. They are extremely helpful since they each possess different elemental attacks. You can enhance your attack by clicking their icon on the lower left side of the screen. You will also notice that the Slugs have a bar on their icon. Depending on how many Slugs you have matched in the puzzle area, the Slug’s bar will begin to fill up. This serves as your Slug’s meter – the more energy it stores, the stronger its attack will be.

You can have up to three Slugs to help power up your attacks. The game also lets you evolve your favorite Slugs, and doing so will unlock more powerful abilities. In some cases, some of the Slugs you will evolve might even reach their Megamorph form! Eli Shane and the world of Slugterra await.
